Comment of the week: Curvy Curly Trini

Our comment of the week comes from Curvy Curly Trini.

She commented  on the Fat People: Desperate post by saying "Great Post. Can relate. However, it not only caribbean mean but African men are famous for thing as well. And to be honest I almost fell in that trap."

Trini, you're right and I think that that post was reflective of some men as a whole regardless of race as well. Some men believe that you should be grateful to have them because you're a more voluptuous female. In my personal experience, I've found men with this viewpoint lacking in the self esteem area. What's beautiful about your comment is that you said that you "almost" fell into that trap. Sometimes the word almost is a beautiful thing. I'm so glad to hear that you didn't fall into that trap. You're beautiful and deserving of someone that is going to love you for not just who you are but what you look like as well.
