This is suitable for all hair types, if you suffer from severe dryness please address that problem before doing this. For women who treat their hair with chemicals (colour, relaxer etc) and heat - you'll gain a lot from protein treatments every 4 - 6 weeks but no more regular than every 2 as it can be a very drying process.
This is my favourite.
Step 1: Wash your hair – perhaps with a good clarifying shampoo, make sure its good and clean!
Step 2: Just take some 3 table spoons Organic Root Stimulator Hair Mayonnaise – the amount depends on the length of your hair.
Step 3: Add an Egg to that mixture and mix it all in til you can’t see it any more!
Step 4: Add some avocado oil, Coconut Oil, Olive Oil and or Argan Oil … lots of oil, no oils its up to you! (unless you have black hair you might not want to do this); I only added a tea spoon of Argan oil.
Step 5: Wipe it into your hair (which is perhaps not soaking/dipping wet to make it less messy - but still wet)– wear a towel and something you don’t mind if it gets yuck all over!
Step 6: You might want to “green house” by putting some cling film on your hair and then a towel or bonnet. Please note: Don’t apply heat – you’ll cook the egg!
Step 7: Wait for as long as you can cope with – I went for 2 hours but 45 minutes is enough!
Step 8: Rinse thoroughly!
Step 9: Moisturise, Seal and allow your hair to air dry (You may twist, plait or blow dry if you must at this point).
Step 10: Enjoy your stronger hair!!
You might want to use a moisturising conditioner after rinsing the moisture out if you’re prone to dryness. I love this treatment as its effective, didn’t take me too long, easy to find ingredients, didn’t make me worry about my hair (see Aphogee review) and is mostly natural!
