Do It Like Beyonce

Ever wanted to know what it would be like to walk in Beyonce's shoes? You will probably never get the chance- BUT you can walk in shoes made by her. I'm a high heel FANATIC so shoes always catch my eye more than anything else. So you know I'm snatching up a pair, even if I'm just wearing them around the house to clean my bathroom. I'm gonna be fly doing it, trust!

The first pair up top is Ladies Gemini Heel in natural (which I just ordered) I would love to see what other colors it comes in. If they make it in purple I'm buying two pairs. Now the Dynamite Gold Bootie, if that doesn't say Diva then there just isn't any other way to say it. Cant you just see Bey, doing the uh oh dance in those? And lastly the Clara Boot in black is sleek and sexy I love the rhinestone detail up the leg.

There are lots of other fabulous pairs of shoes from the Queen B's line. Beyonce has proven to be not just a triple threat, but a force to be reckoned with. She has limitless talent and I can only imagine what her new baby Blue has in store to wow the next generation with. "Shoe" In The New Year!

I know almost everyone has their outfit and accessories picked out for the New Years Eve event/party or what ever shindig your attending this year. However for the last minute shoppers who are still looking for the perfect shoe to complete your look, I may have your answer. Charlotte Russe is having a major sale right now on shoes. Priced around $40, you buy one pair and get the other pair for $15.50. You can't beat that!! I posted a few of my favorite pairs from the site. One of my favorite looks for this winter is a glittery shoe. Like the Take A Bow Glitter Pump (top picture) and the Glitter Color Block Pump. These are both sexy with the right amount of softness. For a more bold look the Knotted Velvet Platform Pump in a rich purple, blue or green will add a splash of color for that little black dress that every girl has to have.

Red has been a big staple this year as well. A lady in red is always a head turner at a party. For any style these two shoes will be a hit. The Satin Corset Peep Toe is super sexy. As well as the Lace-up side Suede Bootie.

Boots For Any Style

If your like me you love shoes. I love heels, but coming from a family dominated by men I love tennis shoes as well. When I shop for heels I always look for one main thing, (besides how cute the shoe is.) Is the shoe versatile- meaning can I dress it up and dress it down. As I said I'm a tom-boy at heart so while jeans and a t- shirt is comfortable, if I want to change up my look with out changing clothes, I can just switch out my J's for a cute pair of heels, and just like that I go from casual fly to sexy! With all the different styles of jeans you can always find a good look. Boots are a classic versatile shoe. For those of us that like accessories and a little bling, this shoe is perfect . Another thing that I look for in a shoe is how comfortable it is to walk in. A lot of shoes with a little platform heel on the bottom, like this one, are more comfortable. I LOVE a platform shoe. Not only does it add a little extra height for those of us who are vertically challenged. It also takes some of the pressure off the balls of your feet when your walking.

Fashion On A Budget

Im not rich. I am blessed to be able to take care of me and my two kids on what I make. We are ok not all the way comfortable yet but far from rich. However, I still have a thing for shoes. Like when I tell you I love me a pair of heels..I love shoe shopping. What women doesn't. I can already tell my daughter will follow in my footsteps. Every time I get a new pair she has to try them on, she is 6 and no where near close to my size. I'm always looking for places that have jaw dropping gorgeous shoes at discounted prices. I am all for taking care of my children, my home and business making my needs last. So when I splurge on my shoes I need it to be so affordable I can get like two pairs and still not make a dent in my pocket.

So far I have only found a few places that meet my need for both fashion foward shoes but yet they have affordable prices. The first place is http://www.beyondtherack.com/. The main thing to be aware of on this site is that first, everything featured is an "event" which means it may be posted on the sight for 1-3 days then its gone. Also you can only shop by invite. http://www.beyondtherack.com/member/invite/B4172A69 (Im posting the invite to anyone who may want to join) They have shoes at discounted prices for as low as $10.  A plus about this site, is that if you miss an event don't worry because it can come back around later, or some of the items from one event can be featured in another event. Another pro is that its not just one thing featured on this site. They have everything from shoes, to mens, womens, and kids apparel. Home decor, watches and perfumes. They even have famous designer stuff at discounted prices. I saw some LouBoutin shoes but I couldn't bring myself to pay that much even at a discounted rate but they were BAD! The con (depending on how you look at it) is that you have to pay shipping costs versus being in a store. The reason I say depending on how you look at it is because the shipping and handling is about 10 dollars. In my mind though it balances out because the extra ten bucks you pay for shipping is about what you would pay to go to and from the store in gas. Another con (for some) is you can't try the product on before you buy. So for those of you in denial that your size 9 wide is not a size 7, you might want to go to the store so you can try it on. The second place that I love is Charlotte Russe. They have shoes as low as $10-15 as well. Now I will say that this store is not a great place for plus size apparell. That's one of the main cons about this store. However they have a great selection of accesseries, shoes, hats and scarfs.  These are a few pairs of shoes that I got from Charlotte Russe.

I don't like to limit myself to where I buy shoes from becasue you can find great steals in unexpected places. These are just two of the places I look at first when I need to find a outfit for an event or I just want a new pair of heels. I love Torrids and since it's fall I have  to shell out the money for some over the knee boots since they finally make them big enough to fit my legs.
