Fashion Friday- Sample Sites Beyond Sample Sizes

Depending on exactly how obsessed you are with fashion, you may belong to one (or thirtysomething, ahem) of the millions of online sample sale sites that have popped up in the last few years.  While sites like RueLaLa, Gilt, ShopItToMe, and HauteLook provide constant access to designer duds on a dime, they rarely, if ever, cater to plus size women.

Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against these sites.  I'm sure they do incredible business and they can't be blamed for not selling plus sized clothes because most of the designers they sell don't produce them.  I still subscribe to them because they have incredible deals on shoes, bags, jewelry, and even housewears that I can at least drool over electronically even if I don't purchase them.  However, if you're looking for fancy, designer clothes that fit your curves, I bring you two sites that do not disappoint:

This one is new and was brought to my attention by the fabulous ladies of Broke and Beautiful.  This site not only has plus size options, but is created specifically for plus size women.  The site offers clothing, but also sells accessories, beauty items, and perhaps the ultimate hard-to-find item for plus size women: lingerie.  My personal favorite part of this site is the tagline:  "The shape of things to come." Awesome, right??

This site is super user-friendly in that you can shop without subscribing to their emails, and also that they organize their items by size.  They don't into the upper plus sizes, but you can find a wide selection of trendy, beautiful, designer clothes between a size 10&16 with ease.  With brands like BCBG, Ralph Lauren, French Connection, and Free People, this site is perfect for getting clothes for work and play.

Have you ever bought clothes or accessories from a sample sale site?  Have any secret treasures that you'd like to share?  Let us know!

As always, happy shopping!
