1. Since I was a child I've hated trying on clothes in changing rooms. So the first thing has to be trying on clothes in the comfort and warmth of my own home where I can take my time!
2. I love stores like forever 21 Who offer free delivery if you've spent a lot of money in some cases and I can have it sent to work.
3. Shopping online often gives you access to the full range of sizes. Many sites allow you to search by size removing the chances of the disappointment of finding the perfect item, in the wrong size.
4. Sometimes you'll find things out of stock but you can often set up an automated alert which tells you when things are back in stock. Or its quick and easy to check if something is back (from anywhere with your smart phone ;-))
5. I love sites like simply be, asos curve, and forever 21 plus who use plus sized models! It means when I look at it online on a bigger model it allows me to better work out how it will look on me!
6. An extra good reason as it gives you time to rationalise what you buy! You can save it to a wish list or even favourite it in your browser - then if its still haunting you come pay day - you know what you have to do!
7. You save money and time and energy - no walking up and down, no paying for parking, no temptation to eat out at the mall and no struggle to find where you parked the car in the first place.
I hope that's given you some encouragement to do more shopping online!!

SS 12' - yay?
![]() |
| Clearly the Total Print Trend, great on her - but can I pull this off!? Its £65 for the jacket, £40 for the capris and ASOS Curve do the pencil skirt (hooray for Pencil Skirts) in £35 |
![]() |
| Classic mix of CMYK (I think) and the "Game On" style - looks great, the pants are £28.00 from ASOS Curve and are made of Jersey!! |
When I saw the trend alert from ASOS for SS 12’ I have to say I wasn’t quite amused:
Freak Like Me (fluffy, make yourself look like jigglypuff type style) , Pyjama Party (blue, tea party prints) Mermaids (pastel blues and greens with sequins),Total Print (more of that Aztec print stuff I avoided from AW 11’ but with floral and tropical ideas thrown in), Game On – This is a little bit masculine, a bit sporty, and quite pastely too, Pretty Sweet (more pastels, lace, appliqué and that annoying punched hole design type stuff) 21st Century Gatsby (which looks like more Aztec print to me but with silk and shimmer) and CMYK Colour Blast (more of that colour blocking)
They all look a bit of a mish mash – as its all a bit pastel, it’s all a incorporating of print, you can shimmer and shine and erm…wear hi-tops with it.
Maybe I just wont buy anything (ha) I’ll just repurpose more of my lighter AW 11 stuff as I loved it so bad. Here are some more new things I can muster the love for:

| Is it just that I love this Models look? This jumper is £24.99 from H&M in their new Plus Range (well I never noticed it before!) |
![]() |
| Maybe I only like this because its blue, but we must always accessorise! Its £6.65 from Forever 21! It comes in pink too! |
![]() |
| Floral and with a high enough neck to be suitable for church! This is Jersey (therefore already full points from me), and faux wrap (whooop whoop) and available from Simply Be at £46.99 |

| Fell in love with this when I saw this at Very. goes up to a UK 24 and is Jersey priced at £49.00 colour block!!!! |

Review: Duchess&Duchess undies
Duchess & Duchess sent me some samples of their underwear. I was excited because I really wanted to see if this company could hold up to their hype. They say that they have underwear to flatter your curves and that they use high quality materials. Many companies boast of this and few of them hold up I was sent the hipsters and thongs. Their underwear ranges from sizes 1X-3X. I'm all about packaging and they were in cute little pink satchels. Their price point is affordable as well. Thongs retail at 2 for $22 and hipsters 3 for $39. Free shipping is available to Canadian customers on orders over $60.
Now, when I put them on I immediately noticed that the elastic was very comfortable around the waist and legs. The material feels really nice against the skin, it feels so nice that you actually forget that you're wearing them throughout the day. They don't ride up (thongs or the hipsters), and they don't droop in unsavory places. I wasn't popping out them, they molded to my body and created great and comfortable fit.
These are basic undies with a pop of dainty with the lace trim. I think that these make a pretty great underwear for everyday use and especially under skirts and tight fitting clothing because they don't create a panty line.
Overall, these come highly recommended and I'll definitely be ordering from them in the future for my basic underwear needs. They are a new company and I'm looking forward to seeing what else they come out with.
You can see the photos that I took of them (not in them..lol) below.

Full Figured Fashion at the Academy Awards
I always love seeing Full Figured women on the red carpet but there were some definite hits and misses
So what do you think?
![]() | ||||
| Octavia Spencer's dress was just okay in my opinion. It's beaded and tailored but it's really nothing special. I would love to see her just completely glam it up at some point. She also took best supporting actress! |

| Melissa McCarthy was very pretty in this frock. I do feel as if she was hiding behind a lot of fabric but nevertheless. She does look good. |

| Sherri Shepherd looks absolutely stunning in this blue creation. I was a big fan of this look for her. |
Curvy Pinup
Pinup Girl Clothing is one of my favorite sites to shop at to achieve the classic pin up girl look. The quality of their clothing is impeccable and they have some classic pieces that every woman will want to add to her wardrobe such as the pencil skirt. Their size range for plus women is pretty nice as well. They go up to a 4X. This is a great company with amazing customer service. (This post is not sponsored by the way).

Adele: Vogue's Outtake photos
Adele is so stunning in these photos. I had to share them.
Yes, she's photoshopped but so is everyone in fashion magazines. I'm glad to see Adele showing off her voluptuous curves with pride. Stunning.

Monif C's stunning swimsuit collection
Now, I'm really going to start a fund for myself so that I can get a couple of these beautiful swimsuits by Monif C. As a plus size woman, I know the horror involved in searching for a flattering swimsuit. Usually it ends with me choosing a basic black one with a lot of coverage and it has no pizazz. Monif C has combated this issue and guarantees that you will look GREAT on the beach or at a resort. She even gives a great bikini option. Lets take a look.
These swimsuits are beautiful. What's your favorite?

Jimmy Choo's Lackluster New Arrivals
I love to take a look at what the higher end brands to see what they're doing because:
1. I love fashion
and
2. I want to see what tone is going to be set for other brands.
I cruised on over to Jimmy Choo and I was not impressed at all. Actually I was very bored, nothing new and nothing excited. A true lack of imagination in my personal opinion and it bored me. Talk a look:
Some of the shoes are attractive for sure, but there is nothing special or inspiring about them. It just seems to be following the current trend of sparkles, color, and prints. I expect for them to set trends, and not follow.
What do you all think? Love it? Hate it? Indifferent?
