“We are pleased and proud to have the support of local media, state organizations, and audience members who are all contributing to such a worthy cause. Suicide has no race, age, color, or gender. It is alarming to know that children as young as seven take their own lives and that suicide is the 3rd leading cause of death among youth in the United States,” said Sherrie Gearheart, President of Live Out Loud Charity. “It is important for us to take initiative and make a difference in our community and that is exactly what we are doing at this multi-cultural event.” Please visit www.liveoutloudcharity.org to see list of local sponsors and to learn more about the event.
In its second year Live Out Loud Charity has already reached over 60,000 individuals across America and overseas in efforts to help in suicide awareness and prevention.
The event will begin with speakers including Dr. Jojo Sayson (International motivational speaker and scientist for NASA, as well as Sherrie Gearheart the President of Live Out Loud Charity who will be giving an inspirational speech for those that have faced depression or lost someone to suicide.
